Privacy Policy

Zine Creator is designed to be private by default. Everything you do with the tool happens on your machine. This page is the complete inventory of what is collected, what is stored, and what third-party services are in use.

What we do NOT collect

• We do not upload your PDFs anywhere. All parsing, imposition, and output generation happens locally via Web Workers and pdf-lib.
• We do not track which PDFs you generate, the page ranges you select, or the settings you use.
• We do not have a backend, account system, or login.
• We do not sell, share, or analyze the content of your documents.

What we store locally on your device

• Output settings: sheet size, margin, gutter, cut marks, and related preferences are saved to your browser's localStorage so they persist across visits. This data never leaves your device.
• Service-worker cache: when you visit the site, a service worker caches the JavaScript, CSS, and worker files so Zine Creator can run offline. These are technical assets, not personal data.

You can clear both at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain.

Third-party services

This site uses Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager to collect anonymous aggregate traffic statistics (pageviews, referring sites, browser type, country). Google may set cookies for this purpose. See Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by enabling Do Not Track and third-party-cookie blocking in your browser.

Cookies

Zine Creator itself does not set any cookies. The only cookies that may appear come from Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager when those are active.

Your rights

Because no personal data is collected by Zine Creator, there is nothing on our side to request, export, or delete. For data collected by Google's services, see the links above.
